Class of 2016 Prom celebrations.
Friday 8th of July 2016 was a memorable day for our Year 11 pupils as they attended their Record of Achievement ceremony which allowed everyone to celebrate their achievements over the past five years. It also gave us all the chance to reflect on their time at Rushcroft Foundation School
Although it was sad for us to say goodbye to our classmates, it was still thoroughly entertaining and we’re positive that everyone enjoyed it.
A special thank you to Mr Jamie Howell for his outstanding speech.
We’d like to thank all the staff who helped organise the assembly as there was clearly a lot of care and hard work put into it. And a special thank you to all of the staff and parents who attended to support the ceremony. We’d also like to wish everyone good luck for the future.
Gorgeous Dresses, sleek suits and slick cars were to be seen at The Kings Oak in Epping Forest, on Monday as it played host to the Rushcroft Foundation Year 11 prom 2016. Excited students made their way to the event which would celebrate the end of their GCSEs in style and bid farewell to secondary school.
Thanks must go to Ms Olejnik who organised such a successful and enjoyable evening, including many surprises, such as a fun photo booth, The Chocolate fountain, stylishly dressed tables and themed décor.
Parents watched proudly as the students began to arrive for the evening which was attended by over 80 students, as well as many of the school staff.
The end of year prom is a significant event in The Rushcroft Foundation calendar which commemorates the journey the students have taken at the school and celebrates all of their hard work and commitment. It is a chance to say goodbye to staff and to friends that may be heading off in different directions; a fantastic evening was had by all.
